Side step paint

Trading in my gf's wrangler for a more fuel efficient vehicle (but don't worry got another on hopefully lined up for us.) Looking to paint the step just wondering what a good paint would be for that. Would rustoleum be fine?

Rustoleum would be ok although it's apt to fade quicker than most automotive paints. I'd probably use a bed liner type coating.
