Dose anyone know if I can do 8 degrees shim in the rear only jeep so I don't have to do a transfer case drop or do I have still do it I'm lifting it 5.5ins so I need help on wat to do cuz ppl tell me different stuff each person I talk too

I went 5.5 on my 92 i did 3/4 inch t case drop. At one inch i ran into linkage problems i ran a 2 degree shim in the rear and my cancelation angle was under half degree. That much of shim will be way to much. You want your t case and rear diff driveline angles to be as close as possible. Consider a cv shaft for the rear. Great updrage and no worries of binding at even the flexiest rigs.

Do u think 6 degrees will be go then??? Cuz I really trying to avoid doing a transfer case drop unless I really have to

Its hard to say need angle finder to make it perfect. Just get a cheap hardware store angle finder works great.

If you put a CV in the rear shaft, you can just aim the diff straight at the tcase and leave the angle flat on the tcase.
