yup! i love the sawzall (reciprocating saw)... i used one to cut the leaf spring bolts out of my rear suspension on my XJ lift install... (write-up at http://dingusxj.cjb.net )[addsig]
actually, come to think of it, my dremel kicked some ass too... thanks to the cutting wheel i was able to cut the holes in the brackets i needed to get the nuts out of those rear leaf spring brackets... [addsig]
It seems as though those stock leaf springs never want to get out when they are told. Cutting wheel, BIG hammer, pipe wrench, and heat are my friends on those jobs[addsig]
dont forget the old foot. nothing more useful to relieve a little anger than to give the ole jeep a good kick after it hurts you. sometimes they just dont understand that you're trying to do them good. still gotta love em tho[addsig]
Love that Sawzall. Cut a carport off of my buddy's house. I just walked down the roof and let it rip. ( Watch where the cord is all of the time). Hope if I ever have a bad wreck they cut me out with a sawzall, don't care for jaws of life. Wish I could have cut my ex-wife loose with the Sawzall. ( at least I got it in the divorce) .
Later on fellow Sawzallians,

What ? Yes ,as a matter of fact that is a sticker of Calvin pissing on ex-wife on my back glass.[addsig]
thinking about making the cherokaa a convertable and the sawzall would come in real handy for that job. naw only kidding i wouldnt woant to ruin that beautiful camo paint job.
But i do carry a 18 volt dewalt cordless sawzall in my rig when im wheelin you never know when there might be a tree just a little to big to run over with out a little help first[addsig]
If it can't be fixed with a sawzall, it wasn't meant to be fixed. (Of course, this is after you have tried various other tools such as a torch, BMF hammer, grinding/cutting wheels ect....)[addsig]
at the bike shop i used to work at, the mechanics would refer to the hammer as the "precision micro-adjuster"... meant for beating things into working order. lol... it actually worked well if you knew what you were doing and had the finesse to hit things just right.[addsig]
