Ride quality on suspension lift

I want to spread the word...is this a good way?

I have had very good luck with my 4in skyjacker suspension lift. The installation was straight forward. The only additional hardware I was required to purchase other than the lift kit, were longer brake lines and the T-case drop. It came with everything I needed as well as shocks. After install, my jeep looked and drove great. I drive a combination of highway and street driving, and it handles very well.

Twisted copper, I just ordered my RE 4" lift from 4x4rockshop.com it came with shocks and the disconnects for $550 with shipping included, I bought the pitman seperate from another place for $60 bucks, the ad on 4x4rockshop.com says shocks are not included but I called up and spoke to a guy named mike, he said it was a mistake it comes with dostech shocks, I think $550 with free shipping is a pretty decent deal on a RE lift.

actually I just went to their site and it looks like they corrected the mistake, only the extreme kits do not come with shocks and the only difference between the extreme lift and the standard lifts are the shackles, extened brake lines come with both kits too.

I put the R.E. kit in my wrangler a few weeks ago. I bought the domestic kit instead of the chinese kit for almost twice the dough. They make them in canada(so they say). It also took along time to get. I bought the domestic because chinese steel sucks. Going from dead springs to the 3.5 kit raise the YJ about five inches. Runs good with no vibration with no sye but seems alittle stiff. its only been a few weeks so I am sure they will loosen up. I got their complete kit which had everything, greasable shackles, shocks, trackbar bracket, crossmember spacers, springs and bushings, and sway bar disconnects.. The shocks did not come with boots but I had a set in the garage. I am happy with how it came out and fit 31" x 14.50's on . i was going to do the shackle reversal on the front but did not want to take a chance of needing to lentghen the front drive shaft at shis time.

Correction a got the 2.5" extreme kit.

i have a 2 in BDS and 1.5in shakles, running 31 GYR wranglers, my buddy has a stock 89yj and he says mine rides better than his. sucker!!!

Did you have to do a T-CASE drop with that or not? I want to put a small lift on (1.5-2 in) just to fit 30s on my 93 YJ. I like the BDS life warantee too. How much was the 2" kit form them. The other brand lift I looked at was rough country and their 1.5" kit was $415. Their 3" is $389, but I dont want to go too high.

Thanks,
TARSI
