Reverse lights

I am looking for some ideas of why my reverse lights do not work all of a sudden. I checked the bulb on both sides and both are good. My brake lights work and the running lights are fine. All of a sudden both reverse lights just stopped working. It is on a 1989 Wrangler. Any help would be great. Thanks.

find the little sender that turns the lights on when it goes into reverse. i am not sure where its located but its probably on the trans somewhere.
