Remission of death wobble !!

Be got a 2007 wrangler x, the worst of the jeeps when it comes to DW. I've had a few things replaced , hoping to fix it. But those thing didn't cure it. Shocks, steering stabilizer, front end alignment, ball joints. What has cured it so far is new rims. The ones I had could not be weighted on the outside, only the inside and stick weights inside the wheel. I was lucky and was able to get some original rims from big o, that they jut took off a wrangler. So far driving on the worst roads I can find, no wobble. My advise is a new stabilizer and rims that can be properly balanced with weights on both sides of the tires. I'm driving relaxed and not caring about the roads , like I used to do. One dealership says the problem is mainly from the stabilizer and the wrong rims. So far it's cured mine. Maybe this info will help others !!!

Glad to hear you got it fixed. But I have to say stabilizers good or bad do not cause death wobble. Bent rims will. The 07 and up have a known track bar issue. I suggest you check that out along with doing a dry steering test. This way you catch all the bad parts. A good case of DW may take out good parts. Like TRE and track bar bushings.
