radiator shield

I have a 91yj,4cyl,I just recently put in a new radiator,I happened to notice some dings in my fairly new radiator. I have no kind of netting or screening between the grill and radiator. What would be good material to use to protect my radiator.

I've seen people use the same type of screen on a screen door of a house.

I use "hardware wire" screen....it's like "chicken wire" but has square holes about 1/4" big. It may be callled by other names,but you should be able to find it in a hardware or home improvement store. I mount it to the radiator bracket on the inside of the grille. 8yrs of on & off road driving in my CJ & no damage to the radiator.
