puddle?

i'm looking to get a 1998 cherokee and everything checks out great except for a big puddle of water on the passenger side floor and a damp diverside floor.

we have been getting a lot of flooding rain around here...but this seems like a pretty bad leak.

is this something that happens a lot? if so would it be the doors or some other spot? i like this cherokee a lot and may get it if it can be fixed reasonably well.

any one have this problem?

Hi,

It could be water leaking in from somewhere along the windshield or door, OR water leaking from the air conditioner's evaporative coil housing due to a clogged drain tube. Did/Does the water appear after running the air conditioner or defroster?
