Plastic CJ5 gas tank

I just replaced my old rusted metal under seat tank with a plastic tank. The metal tank had an attachment point under it for the fuel line to connect. However, the new plastic tank has no such attachment point. Where am I suppose to attach the fuel line? Do I have to fabricated an attachment point? Thanks.

I know that the 1972 & up CJs do not have an outlet on the bottom of the tank; not sure about the older tank under the front seat versions, however if your CJ is 1972 or newer the gas lines (main fuel line, return, and vent) attach to the top of the tank.

I discovered that the manufacturer (MTS), stopped making their plastic fuel tanks with the attachment for the fuel line on the bottom. The line attaches at the sending unit on top of the gas tank. So I need to purchase their sending unit. Learn something new everyday.
