np241 swap, speedo sensor question

I just installed a np241 and both front and rear D44's out of a 05 Ribicon into my 01 TJ. My question is that on my old np231 the speedo sensor was a gear driven model and I was told that the new one was a magnetic sensor. Can I just splice the wires into my existing harness or do I have to do more? If anyone can help it would be great!

All you need to do is splice the wires together. Make sure they're the right ones. I had to do this for my JB ss SYE. If you don't get the wires right, your fuel gauge won't work I know I had problems with it. Should be pretty easy though, good luck.
