noob question

well the alt has a lifetime warrenty which is good... the bad is that the alt is super hard to get off, since theres no tensioner pulley

there should be a bolt behind the power steering pump to release tention on the belt :shades:
 

Yeah, but it's connected to manifold vacuum. I think the factory might have done it that way on A/C delete vehicles.
No AC on mine. It goes through the vac ball first. Hose came off above the gas pedal (can only guess what a foot was doing that high up there? :redface: ) and I had no defrost air till I hooked it back up.

I think I know what happened with mine.

When I got it, it had no vacuum to the CAD. This due to most of the plastic lines being eaten by the only automotive chemical that could eat the plastic.

So the P/O must have rigged it so the heat would work during winter.

I will say that I discovered what the CAD does after I dove into the mudhole.
