Hello all. New to jeeps, not to wheeling. Little history, I had a 2000 toyota tacoma that spent just as much time off road as it did on. Ran it stock and it wheeled like a beast. It was part of the frame buyback program from toyota and I recently sold it. I was looking at land rovers because of the off road capabilities, but due to many problems with them I have changed my mind. I don't have the time money or know how to fix an LR. So my choice is now a cherokee sport, which will in time get the work over with smash into people bumpers, roof basket for my ice fishing gear, 31's and a 3 inch lift. I drive a company truck for work so my personal vehicle only sees 4-5k miles a year.
I posted a couple questions in the cherokee forum, and will most likely get to pick the vehicle I want at a buddies dealership (online dealer auction) trying to ship from the south or west to avoid the new england rot problems.
