I've got 33x12.5 tires on my jeep right now. I have in mind of getting a diffrent set for daily driveing and keep these aside for the weekends when I want to hit the trails . was thinking of down sizeing to 31 inch tires to improve on power and gas mileage for the highway, also I wanted a quieter tire. I've got a 3 inch lift on the jeep and I dont want it to be to funny looking, need a tire that is good for the street but also be able to go off road and perform reasonably well. Oh yeah its a 4 banger with a 5 spd.Heres a pic of the current set up.

I used to run Bridgestone Duelers H/T 31's on mine and the four banger ROCKERD with those and 4.88 gearing... It does not rock as much with the BFG MT KM2 33's, though. Of course, running trailes with street 31's would be a bit more challenging than what I like.

I run 33" Cooper STT great tire on the road quit and kick ass on the trails and I also do alote of mud bogging.

i had goodyear duratrac in 31" size and they were badass. quiet on the highway and good off-road. i am thinking of getting them for my 87 now. they were on my 87 cherokee with a 5" lift and i got lots of compliments on that jeep

Check out the Falken Wild Peak A/T you should see the reviews for that tire man unbelievable and it has a 50000 mile tread warranty.

3 inch lift and those 33s fill the wheel wells wow

just looking at those tires I hear the hummmmmm

don't blame you wanting to get a smaller tire

BFG ATs 31 would be the way to go

Nice rig by the way

I think it's a 3 inch lift, thats what a mechanic at a garage told me when I took it in to get some work done. The next thing I need to do is get some rims for the new tires, not sure what rims well interchange, like from a grand cherokee or the such. Leaveing the big tires on the rims that their on so I can slap them back on,on the weekends. The dealership here wanted 100 dollars per rim, thats not happening.
