I have an 85 cherokee with a 2.5L 4 cyl and it needs more power. What are some mods I can do?

Hmmm... a jeep just like mine.. check out Clifford Performance at www.cliffordperformance.com they have a package deal for 2.5's. It will REALLY wake up that early model carbed motor. Headers, Intake manifold, 38mm Weber, cam kit, pushrods, valvespring kit.

I have that kit in mine along with a ported head/oversized valves and the head milled for more compression. Have the distributor recurved to bring in the timing a little quicker...install a freeflowing exhaust system...2.5" tubing with your choice of high flow muffler...I run a cadillac muffler so it's nice and quiet...

This is all assuming you live somewhere that you can modify your engine without the smog police busting your chops. :evil: [addsig]

Hey thanks for the info. I've looked every where for upgrades and haven't found much.
I live in missouri so smog controll isn't a big issue. [addsig]
