Lockrite Rear Diff - What do ya think?

I recently put a Lockrite positive locker in the rear end of my 98 TJ, and have noticed quite a bit of noise from it.

There's the normal ticking (I expected that), but I also notice a lot of play in the driveshaft (I can turn it almost a 1/4 turn), and I get some clunking when I take my foot off the gas and when I'm cornering.

Has anyone out there experienced similar things, or is this thing FUBAR?

Also, what do ya think of the Lockrites in general?[addsig]

When you turn the driveshaft you are getting the play that is in all of the gears mixed together. They are a very noisy locker. I have one in my TJ also.

Thanks Guys - appreciate the feedback. I was worried the driveshaft was coming through the floor at one point!

Have you guys had any problems with the gears breaking? I'm thinking all that cluncking must have some impact on the life of this thing.[addsig]

Yea, I have Lockrights in my CJ-5 with AMC 360, and front and rear Dana 44's. They are a bit noisy and quirky, however they never failed me out on the trails!!!!
