Lift

I have a 2003 wrangler x with 31s. I'm looking to put some 33 x 12.50s on it. I'm looking at a 2in suspension lift and a 1in body lift. Good idea?

With only a 3" lift wont you have a lot of tire rub with 33"s?

That lift combo will work for 33" tires as long as you have adequate bumpstops to minimize tire rubbing when offroad.

Well I was looking at that and a 4in suspension lift but Iv heard there are a lot of other things that have to be modified with a lift that big

4" lift isn't too bad, I recently installed a good affordable kit from Rough Country.

if you limit uptravel, have proper backspacing, you can run a 33 on only a 2" budget lift. the 1" BL will allow for a little more uptravel off road, will not be needed for street driving.
