Labor Day plans

Anyone have big plans for Labor Day? I'm just back from some work travel, so will probably lay low, but I'm watching jealously as all the guys from my local club are going on offroading trips.

I've just been asked to work on Saturday,but I WILL get some "garage time" this weekend. My CJ's really been feeling neglected lately.

Gonna pop up the camper in the field behind the house and enjoy some time with the family. Roast a few marshmellows, then get up early and go fishin'. Hope to put a quarter pannel in my jeep at some point.

Me and wifey go to the Windsor fair over labor day weekend every year. Stay right there in the camper. Jeep will have to wait till next weekend.

I go all over NE PA.What I mainly look for is boat launches that are not too steep.My E Brakes does not like to hold the Jeep from rolling backwards,works fine for forward.So I usually put it in 4 lo to hold it on the launch while I deal with the boat.I do have an emergency brick to chock the tire if needed,but a pain to use when you get out and jeep is rolling.lol.As far as this weekend looking at going to place called Harvey's Lake.

Well, here in Ohio we will start our sat with some rain, then on sunday some more rain, not sure if it will rain monday or not so sounds like a fun weekend. I havnt checked the wheather updates so maybe things have changed and I can do something.

central Florida was like that two days ago. just checked the weather and it's supposed to be sunny and hot Saturday and Sunday now. I'd be willing to bet it pours tomorrow. meteorologists aren't very accurate in my experience.

I grew up in that area. Lots of great fishing places Harvey's lake, Wallenpaupac, even better stream and river fishing: Lehigh, Lackawaxen, even the Susquehanna above Pittston.

Mostly just staying home and relaxing with my wife as she recovers. I might have some play time with my Heli's and quad sometime but no traveling or big plans so to speak.

good for you. I always have a lot of trouble donating blood. my veins usually close up and stop pumping out blood so they have to stick me at least three times.
