Hey, peeps...

I just finished installing my offroad/fog lights on my CJ, and man what a difference!!

I wasnt sure which ones i wanted so i ended up getting the only ones that the shop that were nice and big and not too expensive...

I ended up settling on the "Road Boy" SRB200NB lights which were olny $115 looked exactly like the PIAA's sitting next to them that were over $350 (canadian dollars)

I was originally a little disappointed that they didnt have the yellow ones because yellow is much better for seeing the road in heavy snow conditions.

The only ones they had were the neon blue, so i reluctantly bought em...

After getting home, i started tearing into it with my wiring kit and i managed to get it wired up pretty easily. One of the nice things about the harness is that it comes with a "vampire tap" splicer for conecting to your parking light wire so you dont have to cut and re-splice...

Okay, so i'm sitting with the whole thing wired up and the battery terminal re-connected, so i threw the switch and expected to see a cheezy bluish white light that you see on all those annoying german cars, but i didnt... i saw YELLOW light on the garage wall!!!

At this point i'm like WTF and i run to the front of the vehicle to see if i had accendentaly gotten the yellow ones that i originally asked for, but no... the light was blue-white neon...

Somehow these lights look bluish-white when you look at the actual light assembly, but show up this nice yellow all over the road in front of you...

How cool is that !!!

Okay, now all i need is another big snowstorm like the one we had on friday for me to test the visibility of these new lights....

In the meantime, does anybody have any links to good guides on headlight or foglight adjustment? I've got them kinda pointed where i want them, but i can tell that they arent set up as good as they could be....[addsig]

legaly, (least here in ma) the rule is 20' from a wall, the lights shou;d hit just below ur knees. that give them a good placement or driving. in the woods, i angle them way down to get the close up darkness.
