Jeep yj hardtop/door help

Ok so first i bought a hardtop for my 95 jeep yj and now i need some help.
1) Has anyone tried attaching the hardtop differently to the windshield than just drilling holes and screwing it directly in?
2) I am in the prosses of trying to get doors i have half doors and i dont realy have the money to buy full doors. Looking around on the internet i have only ever seen two types of upper door shapes just the strait angled ones and then round ones. I have found a guy selling upper doors but i dont know if they will work with a hardtop. There is a picture of what he is selling.

If i'm not mistaken, the YJ hardtop upper door surround that's part of the hardtop is rounded similar to the TJs. As for the mount, I've seen conversions done like that off of a TJ style latches on the windshield frame.

Does anyone know if cj 7 doors will work on a yj?

Yes it will on a hardtop with the rounded corner for the door. The striker is also the same. That upper soft door on the pic will also work.
