Jeep Wave

LOL, a guy in a Liberty came on a run with our club. He said he wanted to try it because he was going to a Jeep Jamboree, with it. Half way through the run, after he was pulled out of several place, he went home. We waved as he left. :lol: :lol: Oh ya, he also said he aint taking it to the Jamboree
There are so darn many Jeeps in Albuquerque. I think 1 in 10 vehicles, here, is a Jeep. I wave but have only gotten a couple back.

Ah the wave, I first experianced something like this when I first got my 67 mustang... I think fellow early mustang owners are much more apt to wave than the jeepers. I can't even think of a mustang that hasn't waved back. Once I got my YJ I didn't even know about the wave until I started getting it here in Jersey... its not many but like someone said before, the jeeps that wave arn't real jeepers, they probably think of their jeep as just a regular mode of transportation... tis a shame... I went up to Northern NY early this month and I noticed the jeepers up there basically hang out the window to wave... mostly CJs and YJs up there... oh and as for the girls, I have only seen one down here that actually noticed another jeep was driving by her... we exchanged smiles... damn she was hot!![addsig]

They wave back around here. But I only seem to get waves back from CJ's, YJ's & TJ's. No one else really waves back :-( [addsig]

Its been a good day for the Jeep wave. I passed 3 TJ's and 2 YJ's today.....they all waved back

Around here I get some waves, mostly from older guys. Living in a college town I must say that most of the rich preppy kids don't know anything about the Jeep wave and thus don't get waves from them. I also get the Jeep enthusiastic wave since my YJ sits higher than almost every Jeep in my town. But hey- thats a good thing... the next one will be even higher..... :-D :-D :-D :-D [addsig]

Personally, i wave at all cj's, yj's and tj's... and any others if they've got some mods. Around here about the only people in cherokees and GC's are just yuppies gettin in on the SUV craze. But as to you guys who say you dont wave at stock TJ's, im hurt. I got a TJ thats pretty much stock, but that dont mean that im not a real jeeper. My jeep loves to play in the dirt as much as anyones on here, even if its not as good at it. But right now i dont have the time or money to modify it, plus my parents are paying for it and would kill me if i did anything major to it since its my college vehicle. So dont assume just cuz i drive a TJ thats not modified that im not a "real" jeeper.[addsig]

But anywho...I think that if it says jeep on the front then it's worthy of a wave. I'm hurt that nobody waves at xj's granted they are more a yuppy jeep, I'm proud to say that my xj has been muddy more of it's life with me then clean. [addsig]
