jeep tj axle ?

im selling a rear axle out of a 01 tj 6cylinder 5 speed and he wants to know what gears are in it and if it has limited slip or not can some one help me please thanks

I would think it has 3.73 and no limited slip.

Could be 3.07 gears, best to look at the tag under the diff cover bolts if still there. Otherwise pull the cover and check the numbers on the side of the ring gear, should be a pair of 2-digit numbers, divide the larger number by the smaller.

If it has a limited slip there should be a tag on the lower right corner under on of the bolts that says it has a limited slip and to use a friction modifier.
