jeep takes several times to get started

sometimes it starts on the first time but it barely does i have to give it a little gas when it clicks over and even then sometimes when i let off the gas is turns right back off, i bought new spark plugs and wires hoping thats it, but i noticed i had a cracked exhaust manifold could that have anything to do with it? any other suggestions what could be wrong? Thank you

I'd start by checking your fuel pressure. At idle and with key on engine off..Then test it for a leak down..
339 kPa ± 34 kPa (49.2 psi ± 2 psi)

My bet is the fuel pump is wearing out. It doesn't give enough pressure to pop the injectors. Follow Stealheadz advice.

PS: Cracked exhaust manifolds are common place for Jeep I6s but will not effect starting.
