Jeep Commander Stereo installation Help!!

I've got a 2006 Jeep Commander and the screen to my stereo has burned out (Due to water damage I assume) Id like to install an after market stereo has anyone done this? Also what materials would I need ? Any Help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

My favorite site for aftermarket stereos and research is Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, Pro Audio, 4k TV
They do a great job letting you know what fits in your Jeep. I've bought from them in the past, and they include everything you need (adapters, pigtails, etc).

The main rule when replacing your stereo is to not cut any wires. You want to use adapters to go from your factory harness to the new aftermarket stereo harness.
