It means it is higjly modified so if you are not a mechanic, or mechanically inclined, it will be expensive and time consuming to repair because there are not stock parts on the jeep.
For your first jeep, try to find something that is not modifie so you will less problems, if any
It's got some great mods, but whatever replacement part you buy at the local auto parts store, be it an oil filter, brake pad, or whatever will be the wrong type.
Nope, if you have to do any work on it, it will be troublesome. And if you have to pay a mechanic, it will be expensive. If it was a secondary vehicle for playiing, ok, but not as a primary vehicle
Agree with superJ. Not as a primary vehicle.. That thing is modded out, and just about every jeeper would love to have it. Just not as a daily driver for reasons stated above.
It could be worth $11K to the right person IF the axel and engine swaps were done by a competent mechanic.
If this will be your daily driver, I'd recommend you look for something closer to stock, like stock engine and transmission and axles. Mods like bumpers and winches and tires are less likely to cause problems. By going close to stock, you can add stuff one at a time and if a problem crops up, you will know it was likely the last mod.
Good luck and keep looking....there is a Jeep out there just for you.
Just to let you know, it's only a 3 speed auto. It wouldn't be the best transmission for traveling any distance and I'm surprised that engine wasn't mated to a newer transmission with overdrive. I'm also surprised it has T/A's on it, with white letters out ! lol
