intalling a transfer case for 89 yj

i just need to replace my old tranfer case for the same one. what is involve for the process.i have an np231 with a manual ax5 an 2.5l engine.any help would be appreciated.thanks guys[addsig]

It's pretty easy once you get down there messing with it.

• Drain the transfer case
• Remove the rear driveshaft
• Disconnect the speedo and vacuum harness
• Unbolt the transfer case shifter linkage
• Remove the 6 nuts holding the transfer case to the transmission
• Reverse to install
