Well thats a tall one to answer:
First off you will need a mounting bracket to mount your compressor if you don't know where or how I would suggest you go to
Kirby Enterprises to get some of your questions answered. They have a large selection of diagrams and parts your going to need including your oil separator. I found my regulator at Evco and recommend it over Kirby's because of the size.
As to where to mount your tank I suggest a 1.5 gal, mounted under the tub, some where near the underside of the drivers seat. I have
one picture of my tank under my Jeep.
It doesn't so that much but it should give you an idea.
I wouldn't hard line my tank nor my compressor since they vibrate too much.
I wrote a small section on my web page on how I did it with 600 psi/600 degree air brake lines from Evco house of hoses. We have three jeeps in our group that have gone this way and all three of us agree it was the best investment as of yet.
And if your interested in it give me a PM and I will shoot you the numbers for the tanks dump valve...as the web page says I am lazy and don't wish to climb under the jeep every time to drain the tank.
