how to tweak a pioneer DEH-P3000IB stereo

I have an 2002 Jeep wrangler Tj with the subwoofer in the Console. I wanted to upgrade the radio, so I bought the DEH-P3000Ib by Pioneer. Circuit City installed it, but that was all. They made no adjustments, the subwoofer isn't playing and I have no idea how to get the best sound from my stock speakers, there are just to many settings. Please help, I have been working on this for over a week and haven't gotten anywhere. Thanks for all your help.

If i was you, i would take it back to those people that installed it and tell them they need to fix that. especially if you paid them for the service.

Ya i'd take it back. The installers should have done that and if they know what they're doing (which they should) they'll know how to get the best sound out of what you've got.

Do you happen to have a manual for it?

they probly didn't hook up the factory sub due to the interface being a little tricky,(and probly beond their exp). as far as the settings that all depends on the music that you listen to and everyones ears (and tastes)are diffrent.if you push the big knob in for two secs it will go into the menue and let you adjust all the settings.if you don't have a manual go back and pitch a *****(they kept it)!

same thin with the sub happened to me at best buy. i took it back, they fixed it, ad i was off.

I have the same stereo. If you go to the audio settings there's an option to turn the sub on or off.
