How many passengers do you take offroad

I've never had more than me and the wife in my Wrangler when we've hit the trails. I'm now contemplating offroading & camping for 2 / 3 days with three of my buddies, all piled in my Jeep to hit the trails. A guys weekend sounds like a blast, but at the same time I'm imagining two of my buddies squished together in the back seat...

Anyone here gone offroading in the backseat of a Wrangler? Any stories to tell?

I take my kids, they dont seem to complain.I have been in the back of a YJ while wheeling,it wasnt too bad with out the top on.

I wouldn't have a problem with it. But, for any serious trailing, I think a kiddie bar would be in order. Or, flip the rear seat mounts around so thier heads are closer/under the main roll cage hoop. Not as good of a view, but safer none the less.

Take them all.I take 3,an my friend takes all his kids too.all use seat beltssssssss

I've had four adults in my Jeep for some dune wheelin'. Top down, wasn't bad. The only time they complained was when I went through the big puddles at fairly high speed :D

It seems the normal for me is 2 or 3, but now that the twins are going on 5, the norm will start at 3 and go up to 4.

On the road i can only take one front passenger legally since i took the rear seats out. In the ranch, i would sometimes have 2 on the back standing and holding on the rollbars. When i yell headache, that usually indicates that something hard is about to make contact with their skulls:twisted::D.

The TJ has a back seat???

I removed the back seat from day 1, so only one extra when I hit the dunes. Would not want to be in the back seat of a Wrangler when going off-road

I've had nine, if you count the dogs. XJ's do have their pluses.
Watched a guy roll his CJ-3 with five people on board, it was ugly.

me and one passenger. I do not have a rear seat. I will be buying a PRP kids suspension seat so that my daughter can join us this summer.
