Horn replacement

So I'm not sure if I'm being an idiot or not but i bought this replacement horn because i was tired of how horrid the stock one sounds:

Hella Lighting 003001601 - Hella Dual Tone Air Horn Kit - Quadratec

So I got it today went to install it, since it says all brackets are included and it uses the existing wiring, and realized how wrong they were... there are three bolts, three nuts, and a lock washer. That is all it includes. And to get the existing wiring to work I'd have to modify it greatly.. So my question is, am I over reacting? Or do you think other things should be included? If I am over reacting, any recommendations on how to install it? The instructions it came with are rubbish... Any help is much appreciated..

Since you bought an Air horn replacement, i think you got what you asked for. It's really not as complicated as you think. Mount the horns where you want them, mount the pump where the existing horn wiring is within reach of the connector on the pump then run the wiring. I don't think you will need to install the relay in the kit since the horn system on the TJ already has a relay. Plug in the factory wire on the positive side of the pump and ground the negative side of the pump terminal, your done.

Sorry about the rant, it had been a long day... But thank you SteelHeadz! I'll get right on it.

How did the horn turn out? I was thinking of getting one like that but was afraid it would sound like a clown car.

I'm quite disappointed in it... It's really high pitched, but it is suuuuuper loud.

My friend has a train horn in his Roush pickup. I told him to let me hear it.....I though the people out in front of the chinese food place were going to jump out of their socks.

It's sounded like Amtrak was parked in the parking lot, they're very loud....I got a good laugh outta it though.
