Well, i finally finished all the body work on the tub, filled in all the little holes, fixed all the dents, and replaced a few spots with new sheet metal. I cleaned it down and im about to go spray it with rustoleum primer stuff and then tomarrow im off to hurculine the inside of the tub. Just wondering if there was any suggestions that the intructions might not mention that anyone has learned by experiance . . . . ~ Justin

i havent done it. but have readmany places to clean VERY good, and put it on thick..... good luck

yea clean it really well and use some kind of solvent that takes out all grease, then let it dry till its bone dry and then your going to have to scrape up what ever smooth surface there is inside the tub so the hurculiner can bond to somethingi would suggest a really stiff wire brush the directions say to use sand paper but the sand paper doesnt do enough scratching... i followed the directions on my jeep and in some spots the hurculiner is starting to peel up. but most important is to make sure it is really clean meaning no grease or oil anywhere and it will come out good, oh makes sure u let it totally cure b4 u put anything on it

Thanks, i got the kit and it comes with this pad your supposed to use, but my jeeps scratched to crap cuz i've grinded so much on it and done a lot of body work. I hope it doesnt peel up after i do it at all, but even if it does you can always fix it b/c it bonds to itself . . . i think. Any thing else?

yea u can fix it but it doesnt look like the picture shows u it looks kinda bad

Well i finally got that crap on my jeep, stuff is like tar. It looks really great but im going through some sacrafices with that crap. I was using gloves b/c i didnt want it all over me but no good, after it started getting a little tacky the gloves ripped and it was all over my hands . . i went through 3 pairs of gloves and then gave up. . . i got a little in my hair , which is a little long . . . arg, its still there, adds to the style. And then drops here and there on my legs, feet, and stomach/back. Wasnt wearing shoes or a shirt and was in shorts when i was doing it so it was all over me. Did you know that stuff doesnt come off when it dries, now my hands are all black . . looks perdy, my mom about crapped a cow b/c where going to cancun tomarrow for vacation. hehe ~ Justin

yea it doenst come off for a week i tried everythin when i got it all over me but no success. after it dries u cant take off the big clumps but u might tear off a little skin dont worry about it it comes off eventually

oh i wore herculiner on my arms and legs for like 3-4 days.... gasoline eventually helps get it off. If you dont want to use that, you can use a chemical called xylol or xylene, cept it prolly isnt the best thing for your skin. the liner comes right off tho...

I used a quart of xylene on my skin but it still didnt come off. Its been a week and its all perdy much gone except on the fingernails . . . oh well
