Hey friends, I'm Brent!

I just got my first jeep, 1998 Grand Cherokee Loredo. Looking for any tips or tricks to improve it. I believe it is the 6 Cyl., Manual 4x4, automatic trans. It has high miles, but does it run like a charm!

If anyone knows of anything thats 'normaly' wrong or can go wrong, normal breaks ect, Id be glad to hear about them! I am also looking into getting a small lift, tires, and some other mods as well! Any suggestions on products would be great as well! I'll get some pictures of it soon!

There are plenty of common issues to all jeep vehicles.


Start with good maintenance.
Proper air and oil filters
Clean IAC and TB
Clean battery terminals and connectors.
Inspect the cables and clean/polish the opposite ends.

3rd owner.. The last owner took very good car of this.ZJ!! Couple minor rust areas that need some clean up, but for 252k miles, id say it looks pretty darn good!!
