heater not working

I have a 93 grand cherokee and my heat worked and is now not working. Blend door came up as a symptom by a friend but my knows on the dash also spin full circles... any ideas?

I'm guessing that it blows fine, just not hot (i.e. not a fan issue). What do you mean by "but my knows on the dash also spin full circles"?
