Half doors

Does anybody know if TJ half doors will fit on a YJ?

i think i have read the hard doors won;t work but if a tj half door upper works on a yj door, i would assume the tj half lowers will work on ours too.

The striker/latches are different
The tj striker is a "U" shape

The striker is different, and there is a slight difference between the rake of the windshield. You can make it work, by it may not be worth the effort.

Find YJ half doors, probably cheaper too

Other than the different striker from the TJ to a YJ, the upper TJ and YJ post for the upper window to mate into the lower door is also slightly different on spacing but could also be modified to work. I'm using a YJ lower door and a TJ upper on my 81 CJ7.
