Fuse Box & Relays

Hello,
I have a 1999 Cherokee Sport 2WD. My windows on three of the doors don't work, The drivers panel works all the windows. I found the fuse panel on the right side but when I pulled the cover to see what is the fuse or relay for what there is no map, just refers to owner to manual... which I don't have! I pulled the door panel and checked the connectors which were ok. I noted when replacing the door panel the sound of a relay clicking, this also causes the horn to sound , so I had to unplug it. Oh! I just bought this and it was a rebuilt wreck, damage was on left side the air bags were deployed but not replaced. If anyone could post the fuse box map I would truly be indebted. And if anyone has any ideas on the windows or horn please respond LOL. :-O [addsig]

hey... welcome aboard! it sounds like you have quite a problem on your hands... most likely a bad ground somewhere or some sort of wierd electrical problem...

sorry i cant be of more help... did you buy it from a dealer that you could bring it back to and throw your weight around at?[addsig]

No I bought it off a Shady dealer lot, LOL. With eyes wide open! I just need to find out what relays go to what and a map for the fuses. :lol: [addsig]

It pays to keep looking. I found the problem with the windows... there is a small internal relay built into the drivers door module so when the window lock switch was ingaged it went kaput! Thus no power at the other three door switches, and only able to operate windows from drivers door. Cheap fix, used modules around $35.00.
I'm now going to try to find which relay is to the horn, so if any body out here knows could you PLEASE reply?
