front driveshaft trouble...

I have a 1997 zj that i bought wit a busted front driveshaft, i have the 242 t/c and from the t/c yoke to the front diff. yoke measures 34 in. so im lookin for a driveshaft that measures 34.5 from ujoint center to ujoint center... any ideas???? apparently, its not too popular for this year... i bought one figurin they were all the same and it was two inches too short... i need help finfding one of these asap... winter is comin. local j/y aint got em...

You can have a driveshaft shop rebuild that easily enough, even buy the parts yourself at Spicer Type C.V. Components

well, the problem is, i dont have it anymore... i took it to one of the guys around here that collects scrap metal coz i needed money for pullups. which, i regret doing now... but yea so now im stuck wit no shaft and no ideas on finding one...

www.4xshaft.com can make you one in the $300-$350 range. Otherwise maybe scour the pick'n'pull junkyards, Grand Cherokee's are a dime a dozen in there since cash for clunkers. If they all haven't been crushed already.

cool, thanks, i think im gonna go with either tom wood's or a shaft from a1 cardone... i had a little luck yesterday but all they could give me was box dimensions... so idk bout that one.
