Man, after years of lusting after wranglers I finally have one...
I searched and searched and searched, then I bought the first one I looked at!
I'm the new owner of a 1989 wrangler laredo, 4.2l 5speed. The guy was asking 4200$ for it, I told him it wasn't quite in my price range so he lowered it to 3600$. I looked at it, found non-carb approved parts (yay california) and started adding up what it was going to cost to get it smogged. I told him the best I could do was 3000$ and he accepted. So far, other than the after market parts and a broken speedo, everything seems to be fine, I think I got a great deal.
