extended brief top for 99 tj

i bought an extended brief top for my 99 sahara but it didnt came with instructions an i try to install it and everything was coming along nicely until i got to the back thats when i got stuck cause i dont know what to do so it wont flap and why are the straps so long so if anyone would be able to guide me i will be more than greatful
