doors off, lights & buzzer stay on?

Yeah i'm a noob. Just bought a 92 YJ, got home, took the doors off, key in the ignition, and the door lights and buzzer stayed on. Got to be a simple answer, i don't have the owner's manual.
 

pull the wire connectors from the door switch.
 
Should be a fuse you can pull - that's what I did on my TJ. Google up "Jeep fuse block" or something similar - you should find the fuse to pull.

On a YJ, it's much simpler to just disconnect the two wire connectors by the front edge of the driver's door frame. There's no inside kick panel, and the wires are right there and easier to get to than the fuse box.
 
pull the wire... theres a guy out there that invented this spring thing that you put on the pin... but the connector pull is free - may be behind the carpet = that way the switch on the dash will still work the lights...
