Door weatherstrip replacement

Has anyone replaced the weatherstrip around a full door on a TJ? I've got an 03 and the current one is pretty ripped up. I've got the replacement but am not sure what I'm getting into. Any tricks or anything special I need to know?

Yeah, I checked there when I starting thinking about replacing it a few months ago and didn't really find what I was looking for.

I've never replaced weatherstripping on a jeep but often the weatherstrip is just glued in place. 3M weatherstrip adhesive works good. You'd use masking tape to hold the new weatherstrip in place until the adhesive sets. Be sure to clean up any errant adhesive while it's wet.

Thanks mark sr. I hate to rip off the old one not knowing what I'm getting in to so I was hoping someone here had done it before.

I’ve done it on my old cj7 and my 2000 trans am. Pretty straight forward. Both were held on with clips/studs that are along the weather stripping and fit into corresponding holes/indentations along the door.
