does a stock TJ have a rear tow point???

Im going on a trip next month and every Jeep must have front and reat tow points. Well, I have two tow hooks on the front, but none on the back.

But, I have been towed from the rear before. Does this technically mean that I have a rear tow point?

They are probably looking for you to have a tow hook on the back, here's a cheap easy solution (bottom of the page)

I did that very simple solution and it worked like a charm. I've even had to use it on several outings :wink:

That's how I mounted my rear hook too. Some TJ's came with a real beefy factory hook, it was mounted beneath the driver's side frame rail and stuck out to the rear beneath the bumper.
