Disconected fornt diff hos

Hi to all my Jeep is a 1998 Grand Cherokee Laredo L6 4.0

while cleaning my air filter, I found a hos that goes to the top of the front differential but the other end was setting under the air filter tray and is not connected to anything. need help knowing what to do in the HAYES manual can't find anything.

It doesn't connect to anything, it's a Vent hose. It's placement is critical from water intrusions. if you found it held by a clamp under the tray, thats where it should be..
