Does anyone know where I can get some of these monsters? I found some at 4x4rockshop.com for $275 a pair but that's the only place. I know there are other places out there that sell them.

Many jeepers would say dumping that kind of money into a weak D35 is akin to polishing a turd  Have you thought about the comparable expense of upgrading to maybe a Ford 8.8? Much stronger axle and you'll have disc brakes in the rear.

If you're breaking stock D35 shafts, you probably need a stronger axle assembly all-together.

I'll be eventually looking into the same topic, is the axle length on the ford 8.8 the same as the D35 on a TJ? What about the ford 9?

the 8.8 is a good axle for some because it is rougly the same width as the dana 30 ( only a half inch difference) and has the same bolt pattern as your front end ( 5 on 4.5). plus all the other goodies such as disc brake, limted slip..large range of gear ratios.

as for the 9 inch, if you arnt swapping out your front end it wouldnt help you much. it has a different bolt patter and youll never find one that is the right width.

I'm up-grading from 4.10's to 4.88's and have a locker already. I don't want to spend $600 on a super 35 kit just to get the heavy shafts.

I plan on having it put in and run it. Another jeep in our club has been running the same setup for the past 2 years without a problem and he's more extreme than I am. I just need the heavy shaft's.
