Dana 30 Axle Shafts

Hey quick question here as I think I know the answer. Will axle shafts for a 95 cherokee dana 30 fit in a dana 30 for a 2001 TJ? I think they will, but I would like to get some of your opinions.

Sure will. That was around the time they went from the small u-joint to the larger D44 size so it may have a smaller joint but spline count will be the same.

I might be wrong but doesn't the cherokee d30 use a two piece axle on the passenger side, and the tj use a one piece?

Only on pre 91. My 92 doesn't have the disco on it.

My 92 has the front axle disconnect.

Must be a cross over year. Strange. Mines a limited not sure if that makes a difference. My two parts jeeps are 92 and 94. Both have no disco.

Yeah I'm not to sure either this is my first jeep. It's a 92 Islander edition

On XJs if it had a 242 no disco, 231 got the disco and it ended in 91, YJs got it a little longer.
