Craigslist find... yay or nay?

Guy's asking $300 for this '88 Comanche, and I find myself oddly tempted to buy it. He says it needs work, so I emailed him to find out what exactly is going on with it.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Gave $125 for my last 'Manche, it was an '88 with 4.0L and 4wd, 6" of lift later it was a beast.

If that topper comes with it...you can make back your $300 and maybe then some by selling that piece alone.
