Coil Spacer Question...

[Operation 4x4]

I have 2 questions here, totally unrelated.

1. I wanted to get a 2'' inch coil spacer lift with a 1.5'' body lift. Is this a good idea? Any advice?

2. Something is wrong with my blinker, ha. Sometimes i press the brake and the driver side turn signal will illumiate (even though i didnt switch it on). It wont blink. Itll just stay illuminated. Sometimes it will also be blinking when i click it on, but when i hit the brake it gets stuck. I find this to be wierd lol. Any help?

btw i have a 98 TJ.

Sound like your brake light is blown out.Check the bulbs.

I have a 1 inch body lift and a 2 inch coil spacer lift. I like the ride height and it gives my 31's plenty of space. The rule of thumb on body lifts is no more than 1 inch (puts too much stress on the mounts). Both of my kits came from Terra-Flex and seem to be well made. Installation was very easy.

On the lighting issue... We had an old dump truck that would do that if the emergency flasher switch was not all the way off. So you might have something going on in the turn/emergency switch. Try putting on and off the emergency flashers - see if it changes anything. Best of luck - John

I have a 97 TJ with skyjacker 2" coil spacers have had them 5 years and thay work great very easy to install and works on and off road.

I have 31" tires and the 2" spacers when my jeep is flexing it stuffs the tires under the fender flares with stock wheels so..

#1 on road you will not rub.

#2 off road you may rub.
