Cj7 ax15?

I was wondering if the ax15 5 speed transmission will bolt up to the 4.2 litre inline 6 in my 85 cj7. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It will bolt up. You may have to get new drive shafts, depending on what you have now. You will also have to install a hydraulic master cylinder as the AX15 has a hydraulic slave cylinder.

Pay attention to different diameters of the pilot shaft bushing, they changed over the years.
