CJ5 parking light

I have a 1974 CJ5 and my front passenger side parking light will not come on. The turn signal works all fuses are good and tested with a volt meter. All other lights work and everything i checked out above are good to go. I changed out the bulb thinking it night have been that but no such luck. Any suggestions on what it could be.

Look inside the bulb socket, there may be some crud or corrosion of the terminals inside, you may need to scrape off the surfaces with a slender knife.

Ya i took some fine steel wool and cleaned it out some maybe i just need to do a little more. ill try it this weekend and see what happens.

Well I got it working I didn't realize that the screws holding the light axis as a ground. Not sure why I did but I fixed it.

Yep, it went the same way on mine! I cleaned the ground up with a small wire brush attachment then after connecting sealed it up with dielectric grease.
