I finnaly got the power stearing installed in my CJ5. This was the best upgrade ever. It was cheep and easy. I would highly recomend this to anyone without. I had a few problems. I bought used parts and the first pump and box were bad but the next set worked great.

Yes,I love my power steering.Would hate to be without.

Did you get them from another Jeep? I've heard you can swap them from General motors cars. If you got them from a GM car let me know which type so I can get it. Around here the salvage yards save the Jeeps, Old Camaros, Chevelles, GTO's ,Mustangs and Mopars for their buddies. So, unless you are good friends with the yard owner all you have access to are Impalas from the 80's, any Ford Taurus. And old honda civics. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

I got mine from a 82 Jeep I think. There is a place up the street that tears jeeps down and sells the parts if they are not rebuildable. It is in Salt Lake. It is called Keep It Jeep. I have also seen some jeep only junkyards on the internet that I am sure you could get them from. I think if I had it to do over again I would buy the brackets from a junkyard for the pump and buy new. The pump is around $40, and I found a box at checker for like $180. The lines are about $20 apiece. You do have to pay core charges but I don't think they are that much.
