Changing Wheels and Tires

I have an 07 Wrangler Unlimited X. It has a 4" lift with 15" wheels and Pro Comp 35 12.50's MT's. I was thinking of changing to a 17" wheel and sticking with a 35" tires. I have done some research and like the Nitto Trail Grappler but dont want all the road noise. The Terra Grappler is nice but the look is not really aggressive enough for me. Anyone have any experience with Nitto's or a suggestion on the size of wheels??? Can I go to a 17" wheel? And what does this change?, if anything?? I love the BFG AT's but the cost is not appealing! HELP

You shouldn't have an issue changing the speed calibration if your sticking with the 35" tires. You can put 20" wheels with a 35" tire and still have the same ratio. The only thing that will change is the aspect ratio of the tire which would not affect the pinion calibration. Yes, the BFG's are pricey but worth the cost from my experience.

I'll be honest, the BFG MT KM2's are surprisingly quiet. You may want to give those a try if you are looking for a quiet, aggressive thread. Otherwise, I would bo with BFG AT, which, IMHO, is the best AT tire out there...

I'm surprised you fit a 15" wheel on your jeep. I have read that they rub the front calipers.
