Bucking Bronco in 1st

Dammit...something else to worry about. Every once in a while the YJ is bucking like a bronco in first gear. Is it my clutch, transmission, or an ignition issue?

Probably gonna need some more info than that bud. What happens as RPM's increase? Does it make any noises? What exactly do you mean by "bucking like a bronco?" Is the stick jerking back and forth?

Is the jeep carbureted? If so, I would check the choke, air/fuel ratios, and everything else on it. The ignition could be to blame as well. If it's fuel injected, maybe the crank position sensor? My best guess is an engine issue. What engine is in the Jeep?

If the engine idles with no surge on the RPMs, then I would look towards a slipping clutch. Is this a manual or hydraulic clutch? If hydraulic, check the fluid first. If manual, you have a problem with the pressure plate most likely. That means a clutch job.
